These are highlights from the 2013 Marine Corps Trials at Camp Pendleton which determine who goes to the Wounded Warrior Games in Colorado. In addition to marines in the United States, wounded warriors from eight other countries compete in the spirit of brotherhood. In the work I am doing with the USO, a primary sponsor of the Marine Corps Trials, I captured these images of true heroism.

Founded by a fifth grader in Forsyth County, Georgia, Change for Georgia benefits our brave troops by collecting items from their wish list that they need or want. These are items that are not readily available or provided but add comfort and fit in their backpacks. The program also benefits veterans and their families by providing food, clothing, and diapers to those who need a hand up.
