Christian Shimer worked collaboratively with Jubilee’s leadership, staff and clients to ensure the mission and vision were integral and key messages were on target. In 2013, I met two angels, John and Christian Shimer, and my life has forever been changed. MOMA's house opened its doors in 2009 and was unable to get the much-needed awareness out into the community until Christian created a phenomenal video that communicated not only the population we serve but also highlighted survivors' stories. Christian gave us a key to unlock many doors to funding and it is as simple as saying to prospective and current donors, "We are sending you our short video, which says why we do what we do and why your support means so much." Our mission went from serving 1,887 students in the Coachella Valley 2013 to over 5,000 students in one year and we believe this video was what gave us the exposure we needed. We have received hundreds of positive responses from viewers as to the excellence of this video and often a donation or interest in having us reach out to them follows. We are grateful.

It's now over five years ago that Christian produced a video for Housing Hope, and we continue to find it to be a valuable resource in the public relations and cultivation of support for our mission. Legacy Productions created a puzzle in the shape of the Housing Hope Logo, which is in the form of a house. The puzzle consisted of six pieces and each program was described as a puzzle piece, which was added to the logo. This was an ingenious way to portray the complex programs of the agency in an integrated and succinct eight minute presentation. Community leaders provided the storytelling in the video, and this added credibility to the presentation.
